Dr.
Robert McMahon |
Dr.
McMahon graduated from Medicine at Queen’s
University in Kingston in 1979. He achieved
certifications with the Royal College of
Physicians and Surgeons in Ophthalmology in
1984, having completed his residency training at
Queen’s University. He proceeded to
sub-specialize with a Fellowship in Ocular and
Neuro-Pathology at Queens’ University. Dr.
McMahon has been in private practice in Chatham,
Ontario since 1984. He has provided extensive
leadership within Chatham-Kent hospitals serving
as Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Joseph’s
Hospital from 1985-1999, Chief of Surgery
Ophthalmology at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance
from 1999- 2005, and Chief of Surgery at St.
Joseph’s Hospital from 1989-1995. Dr. McMahon is
a gifted surgeon, having performed over 12,000
surgeries in and around the eye. He is married
to Dr. Donna Watterud, a wellrespected family
physician in Chatham. |
