Genesis Cosmetic Laser Center is proud to announce the EXCLUSIVE addition of the Inra-Oral Nasolabial Fold tightening procedure.
WHAT IS INTRAORAL NASOLABIAL FOLD TIGHTENING?
Intraoral Nasolabial Fold Tightening is an exclusive non-invasive treatment that heats up the skin intraorally and targets volume through the process called collagen induction. The effects are an overall improvement of tightness and elasticity of the skin along with a plumping effect, much like a filler.
HOW DOES THIS TREATMENT WORK?
Non-ablative laser skin remodeling is based on controlled induction of thermal injury of the collagen while preserving the epidermis. A temperature increases up to 70°C leads to subsequent collagen remodeling.

Your consultation
Patients undergoing any laser treatments will first go through an in-depth consultation to ascertain if the treatment is appropriate for them. During this consultation, the patient will discuss any medical contraindications that might exclude them from the treatment, along with their expectations. Pricing will be discussed, as will the treatment process itself.
All our patients will undergo a medical clearance by our in-house physician, who will also be in the office throughout every treatment to ensure the safety and efficacy of the treatments.
The treatment is done in two steps:
The first step included the tightening of the cheeks, diminishing of the nasolabial fold and lifting of the labial commissure.
The second step involved a raising of the philtrum and cupid bow lip augmentation.
An additional third step could be done to achieve augmentation of the bottom lip volume.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS REQUIRED?
Up to five sessions are needed for efficient reduction of the nasolabial folds, depending on the severity of the perioral wrinkles.
Moreover, it can be performed year-round, including the summer months, without the risk of adverse events such as post-procedural hyperpigmentation.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE TREATMENT?
Intraoral Nasolabial Fold Tightening is an intramural procedure and will require you to keep your mouth open through the duration of the procedure. Each person is different, but you can expect minimal to no discomfort during the treatment. Immediately following the treatment, you may experience some redness or swelling that will diminish after a few hours and an immediate tightness and fullness of the area. Most patients can resume their daily activities immediately following the treatment.
WHY DOES SKIN LOSE LAXITY WITH AGE?
Collagen is essential for healthy young-looking skin because it gives structures to the cells and supports dermis. As we age, the production of collagen reduces causing our skin to lose laxity and create wrinkles. This process is natural and can be expedited by environmental factors like smoking, sun exposure and pollution.
HOW CAN YOU SUSTAIN COLLAGEN?
You can help sustain your collagen with healthy lifestyle choices and a collagen supporting regiment. Use sunscreen year-round, drink plenty of water and help restore your skin firmness and structure with collagen formation treatments.
