The hair you see now may be coming from bulb number 1. After it is destroyed by the laser, bulb number 2 will start to grow and so on until hair emerges from all bulbs. The absorption of the laser energy into the pigment of the hair transmits it to the bulb and then destroys it. That process is repeated over again until all the bulbs are hit.
